uuuuhhh, ......your going to need more parts than that. Its just a little pricey. For close to the same price you could go with a 351 and never have to worry about the block splitting. But you would have less room to work with and might need a cowl hood. I have a 347 and all I ever here is the block will be the first thing to go. You will get a little more torque with the 351 also. Out side of the block, its a toss of the coin. Thats just my opinion and as Dennis Miller(the 400 lb gorrilla) would say " thats my opinion and I could be wrong"

LOL! nothing in that pic is going to go on a 347! that is just to show that my stang is kind of in parts right now hehehe. 351 i think is a little over kill, but i know alot of people running 347, and not have any problems with them

If you can't take a little fucking joking without getting defensive, you're in the wrong damn place. Either settle down and play nice, or get the fuck out.

That being said, you need to tell us more of what you're looking for. Daily driver/racer.. etc.

I could answer your fucking question if you would ask a decent one, what part of ' is it for a daily driver/ racer..' do you not understand? You, my friend, are going to have a hard life around here.

In all honesty a 351 would be a more logical choice.....first off you're already going to be bigger then the 347. The 351 will be way more reliable and allow you more room to grow on. Plus in th future if something where to happen to your 347 with the 351 you can then go to a 393 or 396 or 408. Going with the 351 will just give you more room to grow plain and simple....

Your the one posting the joke, what do you want to know about 347's ? Assembly? Where to get one ? Do you want one built? Are you going to build it yourself? Longblock? Shortblock? If this doesn't help you out you can always go to Idon'thaveafuckingclue.com!

Well fuck face, you obviously have no idea what you are talking about. A stock block 347 would be fine for a daily driver, but if you try and make good reliable power with it, you're screwed. Although, by the sound of it, you wouldn't know power if it slapped its dick on your forehead. If you want to make more than 500 at the wheels, a stock block isn't the answer. For big power out of a 347, you'll need a A4 or R block, know what those are? Didn't think so. So there are many ways to approach this question. A 347 is great, depending on the situation, and how much money you want to spend. Thats the LAST time I'll help your punk ass.

A motor is only is as good as the person who built it , and the parts they use. Hell, a monkey can assemble a fucking motor, but just because its a 347 doesn't make it a good motor!

Yes, they are great motors that last forever and never break, they are easy to install, they even have magic dust you can put on them, and they will install themselves. All the girls will want you if you have one, now go build yourself one fuckface!

/me decides to stir things up a lil, 347's suck
only 302 stroker worth having is a 327 or 331, but since your spending cash on a stroker, might as well go with a 351 based, like my favorite a 377, or perhaps a 392, or the ever popular 408. Choices choices choices

fuck! theres too much of the "FUCK" word in this fucking thread. its so fucking bad that i cant even fucking comprehend what the mutherfuck is going on! fucking fuckers need to fuckin' chill the fuck out. especially the fucking newbie.

i like 351s better than 347s. think of it this way: the 351 will have a thicker block. itll hold more power theoretically.

Talking Acctual advice in this topic :}

I got a 347 ...Now that its all done and running I think is a great motor its goes good ,there not the best thing if your gunna go grocery shopping and cruisin through mall parkin lots lookin for knocked up HS chicks But its deflly a good fun motor my dad just kindas thinks that we still shoulda went and built a 351 and either kept stoke bore/stroke or stroked it...Back to the 347,They sometimes have oiling problmes due to the closeness in ring height and wrist pin but now they have some kits where the rods are shorter and the piston a little bit taller wit offset wrist pins and that is suppose to solve the oiling problems...word of advice if your gunna build it though get a stud girdle and a NEW high flow oil pump.Hope that helped ...you'd prolly get more help around here if u werent coming off as such a prick lata

2. Hey Tex, long time no talk... Go fuck yourself.

3. the_1calledDOG is obviously too fucking stupid to realize it takes more than Krylon painted valve covers to build a FUCKING 347. You're beyond help. Put the valve covers back on if you think you can handle it, throw some *FOR FUCKING SALE* signs in the car, and buy yourself a Kia.
