Question Tach for 2001 Stangs

Does anyone know where I can get more Info on how to get a
Tach installed in my car, Ive heard that you have to either splice alot of wires together or wait for a chip(not sure if its a chip) that will come out later next year.

.

i have some info for ya:you run a wire from the battery straight to the green wire on the tack, the red wire on the tack to the light switch so when you put your lights on the tach light comes on:the black wire on the tack splice into the black wire on alternator:and the white wire from the tach is the ground.

i hope this info helps you and thanks for placing a technical question in the smackatorium

No, YOU eat shit!

It was late, and I had 2 threads to bust his ass on, I figured 2 'eat shit!'s equalled one normal tex response.
