DFWstangs Megadatabase Help

1. There are 5 different areas of this database. They work prety much the same but there are some differences in the data entry format. They are accessed from the main page, also called the search page. These areas are:
   • Dallas Shops
   • North Texas Ford Dealers
   • Links
   • Homestangs - Mustangs in the North Texas Area
   • Timeslips- Prove what you got, upload your timeslip
2. Click "Enter Info" to go to the data entry screen. Select the type of record you would like to enter from the drop down box.
3. When you enter a record for Dallas Shops or Ford Dealers, it goes into a queue. A DFWstangs admin will verify the information and then release it to the website. Links are not queued.
4. Links are categorized first by type of site, then by product.
   Example, Nitto would have a category of Company and a subcategory of Tires.
   The Corral has a category of Mustang_site and a sub category of everything.
5. Dallas Shops and Ford Dealers are categorized by the type of service/products they provide. The subcategory field is just for additional items they may do.
6. Use the search engine!!!! It searches every field in the records. It will save you alot of time.
7. Add your Comments! This will benefit everyone. Don't be shy about slamming a company if they deserve it. We have no advertisers so we don't care what you enter, as long as its the truth.
8. The "Login" button on the entry screen is only for administrators and not necessary for entering records.
