Pioneer subwoofer pair 1200 WATT max & custom built box

3/4" thick compressed particle board, sealed, internally wired and insulated custom box w/ a pair of Pioneer 12" 600 watt subs. Pics are below....Please read everything.

I wanted 12's in my GT. Not 10's. But the real problem was that most commercial boxes didn't fit in the trunk..... so I built my own. Also, I wanted to be able to pop my trunk in public and not give away what I had. People don't steal what they can't see.

This is a custom built subwoofer box I built for my 2001 GT. It will not work for your Stang if you are running the mach 460 sound system . Asside from that, it aught to work with any 1999+ Mustang. I designed the box to look like a wall from the trunk floor to the rear deck, concealing the woofers behind it. The woofers are visible when you drop the rear seats, but not when you pop the trunk. I wanted to be able to pop the trunk and have it look like a convertable's trunk...basically just a walled-off compartment. The twelves fire upward towards the rear deck, and clear the rear deck @ about 5 inches. This is a great stealth box.

This box was screwed together with over 100 1.75" wood screws , & each internal chamber was sealed with Liquid Nails to be air tight (no staples or nails were used). The perimeter of the box was sealed off as well before I added the carpet. Also, it includes screw down speaker positive & negative terminals at each end.

The woofers are 12 inch Pioneer TS-W304C, and come with original factory boxes, papers, and warentee sheets. The woofers were removed from factory sealed retail boxed and mounted in this custom enclosure, but were never thumped. They are brand new, and in MINT perfect factory condition (yes, they even "smell" new). These are not refurished, blown, or abused woofers. They have never had an amp put to them, period. These are 300 WATT nominal, 600 WATT peak, VCCS ( voice coil cooling system) IMPP Pioneer Subwoofers. I added grilles as well, but you can take them off if you wish. I had planned this system out with an MTX Mono-block 6500D digital amplifier, but I ran out of $$$ before I could finish the set-up. So, the box and subs are up for grabs.

This is a one of a kind set-up.... a 1200 WATT box.
