Post Anything better than Simple Green....

to remove tar and such from my tips and one the wheels? Simple Green is getting most of the dirt and grease off, but not the small specs of tar.

THANKS

try one of the tar removers from 3M or one of the other companies. Just test it on an inconspicuous part of your wheel first.

Go to Pepboys and get Bug&Tar Remover. It works wonder. I have even used it on my paint with a old t-shirt as a rag and it didn't hurt the paint at all

for the little specks of tar use gas or kerosene, just don't smoke while your doing it.

Actually you can use WD40. It is the samething as Bug and Tar basically, and its cheaper. I saw this on My CLassic Car.
