Post Which wheel and tire cleaner to use?

Just wondering what everyone uses to clean thier stock wheels and tires? I have just been using a sponge to clean the wheels and Armor All for the tires.

I just use Meguire's Gold Class car wash for my wheels. I also use Meguire's tire gloss after.

I use soap and water for the wheels and that tire foaming stuff for the tires. Also use a sponge to rub the foams residue off the tires to get rid of the splotchy look.

Also to make your wheels look real good, take them off the car and clean the inside real good.

If you have polished wheels or any type of shiny wheels, I strongly suggest getting some meguairs all metal polish(#23 I think), I use it on my centerlines once every few months and man does it shine them up like nothing else, use that and it will keep the shine for a while, other than that I use armor all for tires and just clean the wheels with soap and water

For my wheels, I use No Touch Deep Purple. It's a spray that turns from purple to blue and then you wipe it off. For the tires, I use Meguiar's Endurance.... great stuff altho you'll need an applicator to put it on.

All good ideas, Sean. Basically, I would use a cleaner specifically formulated for the type of wheel you have. POlished aluminum seems to like Eagle One wadding polich for some reason. For the tires, just a good scrub with the remains of your car wash suds and a stiff brush does the trick. Dry them off and then use the Meguires Endurance, I agree with GE, never used anything that works as well.
