Protein is only part of it. You need a good
eating strategy along with a good workout strategy and rest strategy to gain. Then there is always gear but I don't recommend it. There are many programs available out there (body for life comes to mind). You might go hang out at www.elitefitness.com for awhile to pick up some ideas, or talk to your buddies at the gym. Don't look at the nudie pics 'cuz you'll go blind ![]() Al P is our resident weight lifter - PM him for some ideas. Report back what you find - i'm looking for some ideas in this area as well. |

the best protien ever comes from MEAT... beef, chicken, fish...
Sometimes manufactured protiens aren't right. I think the best ever is grilled chicken, it's lean, and low in calories, as compared to other types of protein... ------------------ 1990 Titanium LX [This message has been edited by Silverback (edited 08-24-2001).] |

I agree with Silverback. Chicken is a great source of protein.
However, red meat cooked medium rare also has advantages. I think that some of the roids that the cows/bulls are injected with pass along in the meat. ITs secondary, but hell, I grew up eating a lot of red meat cooked medium rare. 1) Eat 5 to 6 times a day 2) Workout 3 to 4 times per week, resting between days 3) get enough sleep. Studies have shown less than 8 hours of sleep can cause muscle loss due to catabolic reactions. Stress also creates the same conditions. |
