Questions about bruning PS2 games???

I have seen people on here talking about burning PS2 games... How are you able to do this? Can you burn any game with a regular cd burner on a normal blank disk? I'm sure you need to install a mod chip but do you have to have a boot up disk and then put in the burned disk? Any info you have on this would be great... I have my PS1 with the mod chip and I love it but I want to expand my PS2 game collection the cheap way!

any non-dvd disc can be copied directly from the CD to a blank CD-R. DVD discs are usually a bit more complicated and usually it is best to just download a ripped copy of them. OR invest in a DVD burner and get 'em. I don't have the thread but I am sure someone will post it on how to play burned games w/o the mod chip but I prefer to use one. It will cost you around 100 installed. No Swap mod.

How do I do that? How hard is it to solder one of the mod chips into a PS2?

PAIN in the friggin ass if you get the no-swap mod-chip. 23 wires to solder. it would cost you around 45 to have someone do it 4 you.
