I bought my 96 GT and it had an aftermarket deck in it, well it was broken(face plate was detached, and it wasnt meant to be) so I put the stock deck back in. It is wired for an amp, and I have one that I want to put in, but the problem is the amp wont turn on due to the remote wire(blue wire) not being hooked up. Does anyone know how I would go about hooking up the remote wire to get my amp working? Thanks,

Well if it's just a remote you can wire that to almost any source that has power when the car is on. Not sure what it looks like in the back of the stereo but I'm sure with a tester you can find a wire that has power only when the radio is on and you can use that for your remote. Otherwise, hook it up to a switch or something. Just a thought.
