Post How fast are Stangs??????

Raced a late model Cobra S/C day before yesterday on the street, beat him pretty good but he was fast, faster then some C5/Z06s I've raced. Anyway I'm not real familiar with Mustangs so I'm curious what do they turn in a 1/4 mile. I'm looking for "real world time"!!!

You need to ask this in the Main Forum, you will get a lot better response.

And if it was a S/C Cobra (4 cammer I'm assuming) with minor bolt ons and slicks, they run anywhere from high 11's to low 12's with sticky tires, some a little quicker.

BTW, nice numbers...

Wrong forum Dipshit

Anyways, thats too general a question. Its not like we're talking about vipers, a 10 yr old car that has never had a major design change. Mustangs have been around for over 35 years, and the incredible changes in the drivetrains mean there are way too many variables for anyone to properly respond.

Actually, twat-face, he said he raced a s/c cobra, then he said he isn't familiar with Mustangs, and wanted to know how fast Mustangs are, not how fast S/Ced Cobras are.

Heavy (3,300 lbs.)? The only thing heavy about my car is when I get in it. You kinda answered my question in you sig. Is that all the horsepower your car puts out?????? TQ ain't bad.

Not bad times considering you paid a lot of $'s for that ride. I built my ride out of a junkyard (around $5,000). Ran an 11.80 on a piss poor tune, bad air, and no traction. With the mentioned items "fixed", car would run mid to low 11's easily. All with a N/A 302 with stock heads. Not real impressed with your boasting.......
