Can someone explain this "Off-Road" business on 'Stangs?

Why do you guys put Off-Road pipes on your Mustangs? I'm sure it's just what they are called, not truely for off-road use, but just wondering.
Everyone seems to have an Off-Road H or X pipe.

It just means an exhaust system that doesn't contain catalytic converters. (For off-road use only)

Because Mustangs aren't worth a shit Drag Racing so they put the "OFF-ROAD" pipes on so the can get it as far as they can out in a field to burn it!
