Kazaa Clients

I have tried both the mainstream kazaa client and the kazaalite client, and imho, they are both the biggest pieces of crap for a GUI interface. Why can I not highlight and select multiple downloads and cancel or 'search for more sources' ? Is there another better client out there that helps with the download process?

Why cant you do this? Unless I am not understanding exactly what you are wanting to do. I have no problem doing these things. If you right click on a current download you can seach for more sources and cancel.

Thats to much crap, I like to select like 20 downloads at a time. Having to right click and then click on find more sources is very freaking annoying. Espeically when I am trying to download an entire season of episodes or a couple of full cd's of music. It makes me wish that napster would have stuck around even with a pay service, at least they knew how to make a decent interface that retried the connection after it failed instead of saying "more sources needed"

Well, maybe you need to try bearshare like Erfan says. I just have never had a problem with kazaa. Kazaalite comes with a program to automatically search for more sources.

The speedup program included with Kazaalite does the "find more sources" for you automatically. Just leave it running and set it to do it every 5 mins or so.

You can't select multiple downloads to to cancel them though, this is a pain.

It is called speedup. When you execute it, it sits in the system tray as an icon. When you right click the icon, select find more sources and it will attempt find more sources for all your downloads. It works pretty good. You can even set it to delete the completed downloads.
