why would you need juice??? I am sure a speed density car with h pipe and pulleys would more than take care of GE's Mustang.
![]() As for my car. you better hook up the juice and get some sticky tires. ![]() |

Well, looks like i started the post..
I just didnt find it too funny when u laughed about me putting a 200 shot on my car. U know nothing about my internal setup of my motor and have no idea what my motor can withstand.. I was just saying, lets line them up and see if it blows. Hell, you should win, Right?? ------------------ 1985 Camaro Stock 305 1987 GT Mustang Dynomax Race Magnams |

When did I do that? I might have but I don't remember it. So someone makes a jab at your car so you have to offer to run 'em for $$$? Let's see.. a stock GT versus a Camaro with a 200 shot. I wonder who would win that race. You're a genius! Maybe you should spend that $500 on some more piercings or some crap, eh?

LOL! How the hell did we get so far off topic?
The point is, the guy who started this thread sucks, to pick on a stock gt. I'm so sorry it's not quick enough to race anything that's built. Gee, when you ran it in the 1/8th didn't it run 8's? And with a blower? ![]() |

![]() And who cares if it ran 10's ? Yes it ran an 8.67 @ 85 MPH with STOCK heads and on street tires. Had to walk it threw first then stab it in 2nd and finished in 2nd. As soon as you get something that compete with that u can run you little bitchy mouth to me, ok?? Im removing the blower thats why I'm putting the 200 shot on my car (actually its an adjustable shot from 125-300) but ill normally be spraying a 150. The blower is only capiable of making around 100 extra HP, thats not enough for me. And Yes GE, you lauged at my car when i said i was going to be a 200 shot of nos on it. ![]() ------------------ 1985 Camaro Stock 305 1987 GT Mustang Dynomax Race Magnams |

Well I paid for quite a few parts for it, so that makes it part mine.
GE, that was with the blower. So if John Force paid for your car, actually helped you work on your car, has gone to any and all events, drives it, is living with you and financing all future projects on your car then by all means...bring it on. Thought so. ![]() We're both waiting for a 10 second pass. It's got the power, all it needs is suspension. It did have enough power to run 13.2 @ 114 with maybe 1 lb of boost and zero traction until the 1/8th. As for running my bitchy little mouth, I've been doing it for quite a while now, and continue on doing so. To you, as well as anyone else I can. If it gets to you, and makes the "widdle bitty baby" feel bad. Learn to get a tougher skin man. Do you think I ever get insulted on here? Nyah. This isn't like real lide or anything. It's the internet for christ's sake. ![]() [This message has been edited by KiwiGT (edited 06-19-2001).] |

Hmm.. I wasnt trying to be a big man dumbfuck.
I was just simply stating my opinion. You dont even know why the fuck i said that shit, do you?? Does the topic have anything related to your name? No. It says GE. GE , KIWI, they do rhyme a little, but no, thats not you. Haha.. well, you laugh at me but you go ahead and look at the time of "your" car. 500 HP and running a fucking 13! God damn THATS SAD! Im sorry but i REALLY REALLY Doubt anyone could spin a complete 1/8th mile, and if someone does, im sorry but they need to learn how to drive. A car with 500 HP isnt made to be driven without slicks. Instead of spending 250 bucks on front runners and tires he could have kept the ponies and got some slicks.. Probably a wiser investment. (And yeah, i have slicks) And just so you'll know, You're not getting under my Skin ![]() |

And if you could READ, you would see there was was only about 1 lb of boost. No mustang w/ a 306 I've ever seen has made 500 hp on 1 lb. of boost. And if you're curious as to WHY the car was only makinf 1 lb of boost, on the first run, all the vacuum hoses blew off. The first clue was, at the end of the track, there was no power braking. If you are not familiar with this particular phenomena, go read a car magazine or something.
It would seem I am getting under your skin. Since you're the only person here who has resorted to cussing to get your point across. To me that rather denotes a lack of intelligence. A lack of intelligence that you have demonstrated profusely. Is my name GE? Nope. Is he my friend? Yup. Do I think you just made an idiot out of yourself and are trying to cover your butt? Yup. Are you trying to attack other people for that reason? Yup, again. You look like a total moron for trying to prove your manlihood by offering to race a STOCK GT. In the end, that IS the only point. And one you can't refute. You did it, you look dumb, now get over it. |

FYI, we owned a rear set of draglites which were sold to buy a new set of slicks. Those slicks are mounted on 10 holes. We now have a full set of draglites which the slicks are being put on. And we STILL have the chrome ponies sitting in the garage. That doesn't make sense, my money was never spent on front runners first. So was that 8.6 at 85 on slicks? Just curious. Cause I ran 8.8 at 87 with my little 1 lb of boost, on street tires with 2.4 60 ft. |

And just so you'll know.. It only takes on vaccum hose to loose "Power" brakes.. ![]() |

Ya think? Until you were one of the people who had to find em, and put em back on, I don't think you're in much a a position to say what happened to our car.
Gee, that one must have screwed up everything else too...

Deep breath...
Here's is what happened. I KNOW you are supposed to hose clamp or zip tie all vacuum lines when you add boost. I still have the stock pulley on the blower so I thought I was safe. After a month of racing around town I took it to the track figuring I wouldn't have any problems since I've pulled high in 4th so many times. WRONG. I blew off 5, yes FIVE, vacuum caps and hoses. Everything attached to the intake blew off during my quick burnout. I noticed the car idled a little rough and it took more pressure on the brake to stop at the line than normal but I didn't think anything of it. I then realized WTF happened when I stepped on the brakes at 114mph and the pedal moved about an inch. I stood on the brakes all the way to the last turn off and barely made it. I pulled up to the time slip booth and the car was idling like complete ass again. After letting the car cool off I started inspected for the vacuum leaks. After feeling under the intake and noticing all of my hoses were unconnected I knew what to do. With much thanks to Joel Hester for hooking me up with all the vacuum caps he had, I got all but ONE vac leak fixed. This one could only be fixed when I pulled the intake off. FYI, I had complete power brakes with only one vacuum leak. If you lose all power with just one leak like that then your cam is too big for the street, IE making shit for vacuum. So with 5 large holes in your intake and your blower only making ~7psi you can see how I would lose all the boost. If I was pullied for 14, I would have netted about 7. And this run is on tape and you can hear me constantly feathering in 2nd/3rd (1/8th mile). If you run at Ennis you will realize the track prep varies greatly. |

That was on Street tires.
Hell, i admitt my car isnt fast. I know its not. I dont understand whats wrong with offering someone a race that has ragged on anothers car. If someone is going to laugh at someones car for any reason, they should have something to back it up with. Im not sure what my 60 foot was when i made the 8.67 pass b/c dumbass Cedar creek cant ever get shit straight on the timeslips. And I seriously doubt you lost all your boost b/c of one vaccum hose being off ![]() |

Nope, try blowing almost all of them off.
As stated before, there was barely any power going to the brakes even. It idled like shit back to bristol, and there we spent A REALLY LONG TIME trying to locate all the ones that went and putting them back on. Only later did someone bother to say "oh yea, on your first run with a blower don't forget to make sure all your vacuum hoses are tight. My first run, I blew em all." It was just one of those things that never occurred to either of us. And if you want to pick on someone, at LEAST pick on someone who has something done to their car. It'll really make you look cool then.
