What DSL/Cable Service do you use?

What DSL or cable internet service do you use?
Do you like them?
How much do you pay a month?

Just trying to find out who I should go with.

Thanks!

We had verizon dsl paid about $40.00 good service.
Now we had to go with At&T broadband about the same price. So far a good service and I think its faster then Dsl at times..

You need to see what you can get around your area..
What do yall have now?

SBC/ Yahoo. 29.99 a month with a 1 year contract. I've had it for a month, and it flat-ass jams! Free install kit (simple), and no problems. It's about 40 times faster than my MSN dial-up was.

My mom has AT&T. I am getting a computer and probably putting it at Jared's house (if that's ok with Mike) . I was just seeing what the internet options were. I'm use to Cable so I don't really want to have to use dial-up. But $50 a month! Damn!

We had 768k/128k Verizon DSL and it rocked. But we had to use AT&T Cable here at the house and it's nice.

I use SBC DSL and they cap you at 1 mpbs. I'm told that this is done so that you get consistent speed. My parents use AT&T and at times get 2 mpbs or more. Main difference is I have to have an active telephone line, but get consistent speed. Cable speeds slow as more users get on and I've seen my parents connection move as slow as a dialup.

SBC/Prodigy dsl, I think they are switching me to Yahoo though. When I first signed on it was pretty slow, compared to my old cable modem. Now though it seems faster than the cable, seeing as how most of the bandwith hogs are on cable now

I just signed up for Verizon DSL, 1.5 down/128 up. It is $60 a month but my work gives me $30 a month for my connection, so only $30 out of pocket for me

It is going to be setup on 12/4, I am SO ready to ditch dial up forever.
