I went from 2.02 60' times to 2.45 from the beginning to the end of the night. Track prep while we are racing needs to get a lot better IMO.
Some suggestions.... 1) VHT for AT LEAST the first 100 ft. 2) VHT applied throughout the night to more than just the starting line with a spray bottle. 3) Better track prep throughout the night. With all those cars and passes, the track may need to be cleaned up 1/2 way through the night. Especially with all the inexperienced racers who dont even turn the tires a bit to clean 'em off before hitting the line. A lot of crap made it to the 1st 60 ft or more of the track. 4) Either NO WATER(since it is supposed to be like the street races anyway) or keep anyone on a radial out of the water period and make cars with slicks back into the water instead of driving through it and tracking it up to the line with the front tires. I love the idea and enjoyed being there and racing but if traction continues to be as bad as it was last friday, people will just race on the street where they DO get traction. I know a lot of money was made considering the number of cars and people there....please spend a little more time and money to make the $15, gas money, and drive out there worth it. My .02 Ed |

You do know that you're allowed to put your foot all the way on the gas when the light turns green, right? |

I agree with the no water deal. I can't remember how many ricers I saw last month roll straight through the water pit and drag a gallon of water to the starting line.
I was probably pulling 1.8-1.9 60ft. on Nitto DRs last month. No complaints, but I wasn't there last Friday. |

Thats what I figured would happen, cars on radials driving straight theough the water and up to the tree. Not cool.

We always have this problem during the Summer. Just get some slicks and be done with it. They can only prep the track so much during a 6 hour period .
Its not perfect, but thats racing. You just need to compensate Also...I have seen when they really prep the track(FFW 2000) and it is not pretty....lol Broken cars everwhere...lol |

Hallsville gets a pretty good prep all the time. I never hear anything like this from people that race at Hallsville.

Hallsville is like that also. I went out there on DRs once.. went from 1.9s to barely being able to pull 2.1s.
