Who is your favorite minister?
Mine is Andrew Wommack. Anyone ever listen to him?

I would have to say Chuck Swindoll as far as a teacher. But no one I know "ministers" any better than the pastor at our local church here in Allen.
There are plenty of guys who just teach/preach, and then when their pulpit time is done they don't spend time truly ministering to others. |

I don't have one. I don't watch Televangelists
Are those two guys Televangelists.I take that back. I like that Hispanic guy who has a little "news type" commentary that comes on TNN sometimes. He has some interesting topics.

No, Chuck Swindoll is definitely not a tele-evangelist. I can't stand any of those, quite frankly, but typically b/c their doctrine is so far from the Bible it makes me puke.
Chuck Swindoll is the President of Dallas Theological Seminary, well-known author and is currently the pastor at Frisco Bible Church. I also like Tony Evans, who is the pastor at Oak Cliff Bible Church. |

Chuck rocks! I'd like to go to Frisco to hear him sometime. Jack Hayford is very good too. As is Tony Evans, David Jeremiah, Max Lucado, and Greg Laurie. And, can't forget EV Hill.
Our preacher at RHCofC is excellent as well - Rick Atchley. |

I first heard of Andrew Wommack on the radio about 8 yrs ago. He now has broadcasts on TV. I haven't been able to catch any of his programs because it was on the INSP channel and I don't have it that channel. But a friend of mine told me that he saw him on Daystar or TBN early in the morning around 7:00 or 7:30. Andrew Wommack helped me get a good foundation. I like his teachings. I see how his Ministry goes by faith. He blessed my parents in a time of need. My parents got to a point to where they had nowhere else to turn to but God. At the time they couldn't afford to purchase any tapes from other ministries and get fed the word. But, Andrew Wommack came on the radio and my mom like what she heard. She heard him say that they give away free tapes and didn't charge anything, though if you wanted to give an offering you could. Once my parents started listening to the tapes and got more rooted and grounded in the word, their lives changed dramatically. My brother also listened to him and studied the word. I was kindof the last one to get into it. I just saw my brother speaking wisdom and always happy. I saw that and said to myself, I want that. The rest is history. But, Andrew Wommack has given away over a Million free tapes and says he will never charge anyone for them. I think that that takes alot of faith. |

How about Benny Hinn?
My father was probably my favorite preacher. He knew how to relate to the younger crowd very well.

Yeah, I like both of them. It took me a while with John Hagee because he preaches alot of hellfire and brimstone.lol But, I like alot of his teachings on the return of Christ. I use to always listen to Charles Stanley on the way to work. He would always say "now listen".lol |
