Does anyone remember ever hearing about what happened to the 2.3 trillion?http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2002/...in325985.shtml
I know a lot of people died the following day, but does that make it ok that 2.3 trillion is still missing, and we never got an answer?

For the life of me I can't figure out how 2.3 trillion just disappears. I can't come up with any reasonable excuse that justifies that big of an accounting error to be acceptable. Call me crazy, and you definitely won't be the first to do so. I just can't see losing numbers that are that long without any idea where it went?

Not sure what you're talking about. This is the first that I heard of it. All I can remember is about two weeks before the 9/11 attacks, my highschool government teacher telling us how nobody would dare attack Americans on U.S. soil. Most fucked up coincidence I've ever experienced.
