No. We will still pick the most competitive 16 cars at the track to race for the $2500, whether they run 5.00s or 7.00s. The first two races had more cars running 5.50 to 6.25 than any other and some of the slower cars felt like there was no reason to come back. This way, if things continue down that same path, the 6.49 and slower guys will still have a shot at some cash.

Ok, thats cool. I don't think I'll be able to make, especially with it being the same day as the spring cruise. Just to much driving for one day.

so who won? I worked my ass off saturday to get the motor and trans back together in the car and running and then my drivers door latch locks up and i spent all day cutting that out of the car, i swear if my luck got any worse id be dead at 19.

I do not know the name of the guy that won. But he was driving a black Mustang with a 434 Cheby. I did manage to luck into the runner up spot being the # 15 qualified car. Really did not have a chance in the final round unless I was to cut a .400 better light than the guy in the Mustang. We decided to make it a $2000 to win and $500 runner up. I did manage to take a shot at the tree and went .330 to his .49X. (Instant Green Tree) So I at least made it look like a good race to half track. Had a good time.

Which car were you in? Man still having troubles with my car so i wont make it out tomorrow either going through the trans now. My entire car will be new by the time this thing is fixed
