Were getting ready to redo our floors in the house. Wanting to tile most of it.
Currently the whole house is stained paneling. But that will soon change. I remodel houses for a living, but i cant decide on what will look good. Anyone with white kitchen cabniets with black granite tops? Slate. dark light whatever. Just need to get some ideas.

Here is some pics of my kitchen as I was having the house built. I have the same tile on the floors in the kitchen.

Not sure if this helps you any. We went with the darker look. My kitchen is huge but, the darker combos makes a difference in perception.

If I can find the dang cord to my camera I can upload pics of the 18" ravertine we used on all our floors as well as the tumbled travertine we used for backsplash and the laundry room counters. We used 18" and 6" slate in the bathroom showers.
Gotta get those darn pics uploaded. --wes |
