Question Any carpet cleaner hookups/recommendations?

With all the “EZpak” ads about carpet cleaning, it seems like it is a “any Joe Schmo with a van and the equipment” kind of business, and thus, it’s hard to know who to trust.

Any personal experiences?

Water extraction method is the best way to clean a carpet. So that knocks a bunch of people out, like Kiwi.

USA Carpet Cleaners

$50 for 4 full size rooms. $50 coupon comes in the ValuePak.

They did a good job and were done in about 40 minutes.

Kiwi sucked ass... Two thugs showed up at my place with an unmarked van and no uniform. They have some machine with a rotating pad on it that does nothing more than buff the stains into the carpet a bit more. I used them before we moved into our current house. Later I called Dalworth. They were awesome. The guy that came did a fantastic job, the carpets looked amazing and he was fast and professional. We figured that we would not be able to salvage the carpet in the house, but after Dalworth they were like brand new.

we use chemdry. they have no trouble getting all the blood, mad dog grape wine, and motor oil out of our carpet.

god bless.

I plan on paying someone to come into the house I'm buying and do all of the carpets. They have spills and spots and such on them now and probably need replacing eventually, but I'm just gonna have them cleaned first to see how much can be cleaned up. I priced Dalworth online and it appears to be around $180. I've used them once before and the results were amazing! Probably cheaper options, but I know what I'll get from them...

I agree, we thought that we would have to replace the the carpet in the house we bought too, but after Dalworth... they look amazing.... and they were in rough shape from teens in there partying after the owners were foreclosed on. The guy that did ours did some extra areas for a few bucks more since I only originally arraged for the living areas and master to be done. He did a rug, a hallway etc.

Say Trevor, I use a guy with an ole fashion Steam cleaner with a 15ft hose, not a 150ft hose like most places (Servpro, Dalworth, etc.) He brings his machine into the house and you can see the the hot steam really doing it's job. The problem with all of the other company's using mounted steam cleaners in the truck is that once the hot water (no longer steam) gets through the long hose, you are getting just that, hot water and it is harder to extract and it takes longer to dry, also with these truck mounted units the pad underneath stays wet and sometimes that can lead to mold. The name of the company I use is Plano Carpet Cleaning, one guy, one truck, one steam cleaning machine>Great results. He's been cleaning my carpets since 1994 and I've never had a problem, he's always been cheaper than anyone else too...'Henry

X a bunch on chemdry.
Steam puts water into the carpet/pad. You cannot get 100% of it out. Period.
