New House on the Way....

Well, I've got a contract on a house.. should be closing end of Dec/ 1st part of January. It's in Allen. 3/2/2 1900 sq. ft. and was a HUD house. Not a lot of repair needed, but I'm sure I'll be pickin' y'all's brains for the stuff it does need. Mostly just paint, a little clean up, etc. Here are a few pics....

Nice house. In my experience, you might think about making all the walls in a neutral color. Though the decor might go with what you had, potential buyers are looking at it with their furniture in the home. A real light shade of khaki fits most all colors that one might bring in.

Sherwin Williams 7533 Khaki Shade- 7517 China Doll- 7567 Natural Tan
These three colors are popular for resale colors.

Yep, buying the house. I haven't thought too much about what colors I'm going to go with throughout the house, but I'm sure pretty much the whole place will get some paint. I should be having the inspection done sometime next week, so I'll get a chance to give it a little more thought. I've been in apartments so long I won't know what to do w/ some color on the walls! LOL. Need to buy a refrigerator and dishwasher pretty quickly.

Thanks Greg... where's your house? I knew you bought one a little while back but don't recall where it is. We're doing the inspection Saturday, so we're getting there!

Also scope out H.D. & Lowes clearance stuff.

Man I like the dual height his n hers vanity.

I bought a newer HUD home a few years back and really like it. Even has a 3 car
garage. I've even met some dfwstagers in the hood. Nothing like instant equity.
