sheetrock and texture ceiling

Ok, I'll admit it right off the bat, I fell through my kitchen ceiling.

I patched it up with sheetrock, but didn't really do a good job. I don't want to try to do the texturing myself. It's a splatter and drag texture.

I had a guy come out once and quote a $350 repair. That’s more than I want to spend. I figure the "trip fees" are what drives the price.

I want someone to come out, cut a hole, put up 3 sheets of sheetrock, tape and mud, and do the texture. A one day job. No painting.
Think I can get someone to do that for under $200? Any referrals?

LOL hey man did you see a spider or something that freaked you out. What size sheets are you talking about? 4x8 or 4x12 and how high is your ceiling.

I'm in southwest Arlington. 3- 4x8 sheets will be more than enough to cover the area.

in front of home depot there are these guys, they are called, "mexicans" I think. Go pick two up, and the materials, I'd say they'll have it done in a day for under 200 bucks.

That's going to cut into your wheel fund

Leah's step-dad stepped through the garage ceiling last weekend while up in the attic. Luckily it isn't too big of a spot and there is no texture in the garage.
