Po Boys classic Car club

Po Boys classic Car club

Any one a member?
I was going to go to one of their shows on sat and they kicked us out!

I got kicked out bc I wasnt a member and my friend got kicked out casue he didnt have a "muscle car", but yet there were trucks there, some new some old...
Everyone but one guy was REALLY nice to us and welcomed us..
The guy was like "your more than welcome to show your car..outside our cones" or you can join the club for $15 and show your car.
Mind you none of the flyers or anything said this was a member only show...
Please explain that..

Needless to say, me and my friends left..

What kind of show would it be if you can only have a show with people you see all the time..

That thing was a get toghether and should not have been advertised...

You will learn about car shows real quick. You take your car to the smaller shows you will not win crap. You go to a bigger show where there is fair judging you will do better. Case in point. I went to the cowtown cruise for a cure. There were over 400 cars. They only gave out top 100 car awards and i won. I go to a parking lot show and a members brothers cousin who doesnt even open his hood or trunk wins...... There is alot of politics with it. Just always go for a good time and pick and choose the shows ya go to. I try to stay away from the smaller venues if possible or try different ones.

Its places like at the northern that make me not even want to participate in show.
And I still dont understand why his truck was accepted as a member and my friend wasnt able to even drive in. They didnt even attempt to tell him about the club..
They told him it was for "muscle cars" only..such a bunch of bullshit..

I wish i knew.. You will learn about the club thing. Look at my post regarding the svt club.... Also you will see that people under 30 in car shows are few and far between. Im 26 and im usually the youngest person with a car entered sometimes...

And let me get this straight they told you that '' YOU DONT HAVE A MUSCLECAR''?

No, sorry.
They told my friend he didnt so he wasnt allowed to come in..
They told me I wasnt a member so I couldnt be in the little coned in area. But if I wanted to stay and check out the other cars I could park outside the cones or buy a tee shirt and be a member for life!!
