Any good paint/body shops in the Tyler/Longview area?

I've got a couple of vehicles in need of some TLC in the paint and body dept, and I need some advice on the best place to take them. Anyone have any ideas?

Here in Longview we have: McDaniels 903-753-5391 they have been around forever and have always had a good rep. Don Groce 903-663-2314 they just got a new shop out here by my shop and there work looks good. Hutch's paint and body 903-753-8181 they have been around for about 10+ years and there work is good as well. A buddy of mine has been doing custom paint, but his new shop is not quite off the ground yet.

If you are as familiar with Longview as it seems then I might be able to help you pinpoint it without advertising. My shop is a family owned fishing store that is on HWY 259 north, about 1 mile north of the loop.

To the original poster:
I would not recommend CPR, unless something has changed from the last time I checked out their shop about 1 year ago.

Yeah he does great work. He has been doing great work for at least 14 years that I know of. I'm sure it has been longer, but he is worth the money.

I have used carl owens before. I really like them. They had great customer service, good communication, and the paint they were fixing was not factory, but they got it right. So, one vote for carl owens.

Bishop's shop is located just down the street from us. He has seen it, and i suppose he will do it if the money is right

BTW, best damn work you will find in the paint department, Bishop's Graphix

I seem to remember them re-doing a Shelby or two and being mentioned in magazines as a result...
