it looks like a far far distant sequel to the armegeddon storyline. the one where billy bob played the nasa guy that never got to go into space and at the end of the movie bruce willis gave him his patch.

thats what it reminds me of anyway.

Forrest Gump II? Is that supposed to be some kind of insult? Forrest Gump is one of the highest grossing films of all time ($657 Million). Nominated for 13 Academy Awards, winner of 6, including best picture.

Actually, the numbers are more like 6000 vs. 300,000 or more. The number "300" is only famous because that was the number of Greek warriors actually from Sparta. Historians of the time estimated about 2.5million combat troops in the region and double that for support. Most historians place it at or over 300,000 facing Persian troops. Some argue the number could have been closer to 1.8million combat troops including many contemporaries.
