Lost Numbers
Pulled from another forum:
There is a very strange intra-dimensional correlation through core simple binary palindromes that interlocks the lost numbers: 4 8 15 16 23 42 with the 911 series: 9 1 1 3 6 7 6 3 The core binary palindromes have homogenous shells and homogenous cores and read the same backwards as forwards. They could be the most simple representations of the simplest aspects of reality that transcend all disciplines, but are too abstract for the human mind to grasp their power directly. You can express the lost numbers by adding together a sequence of numbers from the looped 911 string: 9 1 1 3 6 7 6 3 Those sequences in each row are defined by these simple core binary palindromes: 101 10001 11011 0011100 0111110 0000011111111100000 with zeros meaning ignore and ones meaning aggregate. If you applied the above palindromes to the 911 series and added the represented digits from the 911 series, the above sequence of palindromes would yield the lost numbers, if you start on the second digit and loop the 911 sequence. 9 1 1 3 6 7 6 3 9 1 1 3 6 7 6 3 9 1 1 ... 101 = 1+3=4 10001=1+7=8 11011=1+1+6+7=15 0011100=3+6+7=16 0111110=1+3+6+7+6=23 0000011111111100000=6+3+9+1+1+3+6+7+6=42 The series is an infinite loop; like the lost numbers, they must be repeated. That's why it seems okay to start not on the 9, but on the first lowest number like the lost number sequence does. Flipping the dimensions around in another unrelated way yields the same results: The below series of simple core binary palindromes has lengths equal to that exact same 911 series: 000010000 1 0 000 011110 1000001 011110 101 When these palindromes are strung together and looped, the result is also the same lost number sequence as expressed in binary code of six digits. Note that the sequence 9 1 1 3 6 7 6 3 itself is also 3 consecutive Arabic palindromes. The station symbols are binary octagons. Note that when earthlings attempt to communicate with other intelligent beings, they use similar binary strings to represent the simplest and purest measures of known reality. John Bingham Coming next: What is the 911 series? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Honestly? I don't think it is that complicated.. Do you really think the creators of Lost spent that much time on the numbers?

They probably have some sort of meaning, but I wouldn't take it that far. I did catch that when you add the numbers they equal 108, which is how long the timer was set for in the hatch.

that may be a tad too much analysis.
