The first bill, as it relates to gun shows can be subverted by agreeing to buy the gun, then go to the property next the gun show and make the exchange. The way it is worded, this would ban the sale of guns from individual to individual, which is probably the purpose.



I like the bill as written in 1BAD06's post.

Correct me if Im wrong, but it looks like it just to keep guns out of the hands of people who arent supposed to purchase them (felons). It does create more of a pain in the ass for those of us who are legal to purchase.....but maybe worth it.

it's a baby step, it's what they do to try and sneak in gun control over time by impementing it step by step over a long period rather than putting everything they want into one bill that would definately be shot down.

this is not a new thing, these bills come around regularly, but they have to be voted on, and most lay there-the NRA and TSRA are very good about notifying members of issues that are of concern
