Sporting clays?

Anybody here ever do it? I keep thinking it might be pretty fun, but I'm thinking it might also have potential to attract yuppie dicks.

I tried it last christmas and it was a lil more difficult than I thought. Close range at that. Real fun but yes, there were some yuppie bastards out there with what seemed like, more money in their shotguns than I had in my whole truck, lol.

yep, but I guess if you have a $5K custom gun, thats the best place to use it. I'd hate to go stomping through a muddy field looking for dove with something like that.

Right on both counts, huh? Still, I keep thinking I needs me an over/under shotgun.

there are some guys at the dallas gun club that have over-under and side by side shotguns that cost more than the average house! i have a beretta white onyx over/under...it's nice, but it's not a big money gun...it runs ~$1,400...

I haven't been in awhile, but its deffinitely different. I'm pretty good shot on doves, but the first time I went to shoot clay I sucked till I got used to it.

I've got a 28ga OU that is fun to shoot, great quail gun because its soo light.

I bet that is a challenging quail gun. What make and model of the 28ga?
