I use mine for travel carry. It is not very light and I would hate to run with it.

Take a look at the .500 S&W.
A revolver yes, but much more useable.

My friend bought a brand new one, out of 20 rounds jammed about 12 times, its a POS. I would get a .500 S&W.

Every Baby Eagle or Desert Eagle I have ever shot has jammed. They're garbage.

Had a racing buddy take me to the range a few years ago with his 9 year old neice and his DE 50. He popped off a few rounds then let me have at it and I thought I was gonna break my wrist and he laughed and handed the pistol to his neince, she shot 10 rounds and she was MAYBE 70lbs soaking wet. He told me it was all in how you hold the gun. He taught me to let the pistol roll up more than Im used to and it was cake after that.

O yeah, we went through 2 boxes of ammo that day and not one jam

There are two big problems with the monster autoloaders that make them more frustrating than fun compared to a wheelgun.

1) They are sensitive to recoil and you really have to work sometimes to find the load that performs well, which might mean handloading.

2) If you shoot at a normal range you will lose brass, period. Some places are worsew than others. Expect to lose a quarter of them per outing as a guide. Which makes them more expensive.

Also, with any gas cylinder operated pistol you have more cleaning to do and more susceptibility to recoil change, and the DE operates this way.
