AR15 first timer

bushmaster ar15 at 50yds with no scope, just stock sights. This was the first time I ever shot an assault rifle or any rifle. 2 sec intervals (per range rules). I was shooting alittle high but a pretty good cluster I think... Its my friends and I think I want one now.

Work on your breathing, and your trigger squeeze. If you had a good time that is what matters.

Better than most hajis! At least he was aiming the right direction. If you used those bean bags as a stabilizer though and were sitting you need some practice.

Just as an example, a US Marine in boot camp takes essentially the same rifle and hits targets at 200 yards standing and 500 yards from the prone position.

Still not too bad for a complete rookie.
