pocket knife guys
I need another pocket knife for work. I had a S&W S.W.A.T like this
but I lost it. Anyone have a suggestion on a decent knife that's similar to that or is that a pretty good one for the price? I really don't want to spend more than $60 on one if I don't have to. A friend of mine told me Spyderco makes good knives but other than that, and the one I had, I don't know much. Thanks |

I have some BENCHMADES..IMO they are the best knives to carry. I carry one with me no matter where I am.
You should be able to find a griptillian on ebay for around $60..

I am a big fan of Kershaw knives. They have really good blades and most of them are reasonably priced.

i've been carrying a buck lately. the "tempest" model, its an assisted opener with a 3.25" blade, pretty bad ass knife for the money. i carry either that or a s&w 24/7 or a larger s&w swat with a tanto blade.

Cold Steel Voyager, pick your size. One of the best working knives I've ever had the pleasure of owning. You should be able to pick one up for 45-50$ if you look the right place.
Benchmade's cheaper stuff isn't winning me over, but kershaw has some nice enough stuff. Spyderco makes a good knife, but the blades are brittle, so if you abuse it, it will break. CRKT is crap.

I loved my Spyderco and carried it everywhere for 7 years, until some fuckstick Nazi bouncers confiscated it at a club in NYC.

Great for work. No need for sharpening. Just change the blade. Also guts in seconds.

I had a titanium SOG like this. It was stolen from me while I was in Iraq, but it was the best knife I've ever had.
![]() Now, I have a stainless Winchester Engage like this, but the metal grip. ![]() It's a good knife for under $40, but I'll be going back to the SOG. The SOG costs around $100-$120, though. |

I carry a SOG Flash 2. It is light and keeps a good edge.

You can't go wrong with a good Benchmade, Spyderco, or Kershaw. All of them are very good knives that hold an edge well and take some serious abuse.
I carry a Benchmade 440C and absolutely love it. My favorite knife ever was this spyderco:

I have the Kershaw Boosted posted, as well as one Chopped54 posted.
Along with several others, but Kershaw has been my favorite so far...

I love my Spyderco's too.
My first had the half-serrated blade and loved the shit outta that. This'd probably be my next knife, or one a lot like it... http://spyderco.com/catalog/details.php?product=233

I never had problems. I was always breaking box cutters when cutting caulk, these give you a good handle and leverage. But this is doing work at home, which is a litttle different.

I've owned many knives over the years and carry one on me frequently for places I can't use my CHL. Over the past ten years I've found myself carrying either an Emerson/Benchmade or a Spyderco. I've probably spent a small sum of money on knives because I like to own a quality blade and every so often I lose one of them
![]() My two current knives. Spyderco Enduro ![]() ![]() Emerson Commander ![]() ![]() Side by side ![]() The Commander is a serious knife compared to the Spyderco. Both knives have Emerson's proprietary Wave feature (check out the hook on the blade) which is pretty cool.

Is that designed like the emeson Karombit. The "wave" catches on your pocket and opens the blade for you when you pull it out?

I have something similar to this:
![]() I dont see the specific S&W that I have on the site. I use it every day at work and it does the job well. The one pictured above is only $25 on the Smith and Wesson site. |

You won't be dissapointed, for up close and personal, you can inflict some serious damage. That's what I like about the KO LEEK, it's sleek and you forget it's there. Now thae SpyCoC-11SS is my baby, though I have abused that poor thing over the years...'H'
