So where do you guys shoot at?

I usually head to On Target since it's 5 minutes away but I've also gone to Alpine a few times (don't like walking down the range to change targets).

Gibson's Outpost. No ammo restrictions except shotguns and .50BMG. Outside, 15yd and 25yd pistol ranges, 50-200yd rifle. Usually hit it up if I'm meeting friends from the area.

Other than that if I want to get a quick shoot in, I go to the private range here in Denton.

Elk Castle in west Fort Worth.

They run a tight ship and enforce their rules, which makes it safer. I've been to some ranges where idiots will rapid fire their pistols and get only one round on their target.

Bass Pro or Bullettrap.

If you go to Bass Pro CALL AHEAD. The last few times Ive been I hadnt called and they had the range down for maintainence or they were having a CHL class.

I also went to the range off of 1171 and 35 the last time and they charge out the ass! Never again. I spent 110 bucks for 200 rounds of 9mm, 200 rds of .40 and range fee.

That's quail creek. It didnt seem so bad. I didnt buy any ammo though, I brought plenty with me. It was like 10 bucks and they gave me like 2-3 targets.

Yeah and they also give you Cheap ass ammo. 2 were jams, and one misfired. I actually always buy at Walmart, but they were out of what I needed.

Yeah that too. I had never been there before and just walked on as usual to the line and started unloading my shit and he yelled at me because it was change your targets time. No one can be at the line. Too bad I didnt KNOW THAT at the time. I had just got out there, didnt hear it and no one told me anything. lol

OKC gun range goes to 500 sillhouettes and they have a 1000 range now too. They also do pins airguns. That is one of the coolest ranges in the country.

Alpine said the same thing to me when shooting on the pistol range. Apparently they do not like anybody double tapping a target
