XD and night sights
Im looks to get some nightsights for my new XD40. what are some good brands and are they easy to install? I'd like them to be easily seen in the day as well.

Trijicon, Meprolight, Ameriglo, or TruGlo TFO's. I have personal experience with the Meprolight's and they seem to be the brightest (To Me.) The TFO's might be a little bit higher profile but you get Fiber Optic sights with Tritium inserts. (I don't have any but have shot many guns with them on and are very nice.) Usually the Meps, and Trijicon NS usually have a white ring around the tritium insert. They are pretty easy to catch on to during the day but if you want maximum visibility during the day get the TFO's G'Luck.

I hope all the Night Sight lovers dont get offended by this but....Night Sights are pointless. I won't go "all tactical" on my explanation because certain people get all pussy hurt.
If you go with an after market sight go with this one http://www.xssights.com/store/handgun.html Watch the video. http://www.xssights.com/assets/XS_Si...mo_LoRes-1.wmv Its one of the best.
