There are two versions of the SCT handheld tuner Xcalibrator2. The model 9415 Strategy Flasher (SF) and the 9400 Custom Tuner. The 9415 is your basic tuner. The 9400 comes with dealer provided custom tune(s). Both products require good support from a dealer. If you're setting up a purchase from a reseller who doesn't tune or doesn't know jack about tuning, you're gonna set yourself up for some frustration. SCT fans brag about the support they get from SCT. That's because support is needed, unless you're happy with just plugging it in and forgetting it. Make sure you are getting it from a dealer who is responsive and know what SCT tuning is about.

sct

Can do either one. Support not a problem. The strategy tuner has your basic tunes, for those who have not modified, or have only done slight mods. You can add at ANY time custom tunes to that unit. That way you can tune as you mod your vehicle. The strategy tuner will be the group purchase. If you want additional tuning of course would be extra as any sct dealer will charge. You will save at least $50 guarantee on tuner.

Ok. It sounds like you have it set up. Your original post had no details so it sounded like whatever.

Don't you have to check in with Admin before setting up a group purchase?

Go ahead and gauge interest but before you get something going please check in with me. Especially with you being a new user on here I would appreciate some kind of credentials like what shop you are affiliated with. Thanks.

That's a good price. Which Xcalibrator 2 was it? 9400 or 9415?

9415, exact same as 9400, except has tunes. and you can add any custom tune to the 9415 as you upgrade. that was over a $100 per unit off. Didnt have enough gm people to do gm also, but ford people got the deal.

The canned tunes in the 9415 are good enough for most NA folks, and they can resell it without requiring the buyer to purchase a custom tune for himself/herself. That is a badass deal. Hook one up for the PRP.

I would love to do one here for this site, this site is so much better than others out there. But no one seems interested in saving any money, LOL..If i could get interested parties of at least 20 people, I could probably get it going at same deal again. But i would need to have some really good interest. Good thing at least i could meet people local to pick up when come in. I would ship out to those who needed for whatever cost of shipping is. If you think there is a interest let me know.
