COMMENTS: Responsibilities:
Management of switched access monitoring, ordering and
routing processes, switched access accounting
processes, SS7 route set and Point Code management.
Duties include support of facility engineering
information and cost analysis processes.
Order, coordinate and determine routing for all
switched access interconnections with LEC/ILEC/IXC.
Analyze usage reports for trunk growth. Review for
proactive PSTN trunk growth.
Escalation management of new switched access orders,
major trunk outages,
Forecast PSTN switched access requirements to
determine sizing of facility equipment.
Validate monthly switch access invoice payment
process.
Support negotiations of interconnection agreements
process
Maintain switched access database records.
Submit tracking reports and composite cost information
as required for input to cost studies or engineering
analysis.
Manage NPA/NXX routing lists for local trunking
routes, LD bypass issues
Monitor SS7 network, order, and coordinate SS7 growth
and route sets.
Desired Requirements:
A minimum of 2 years experience in telecommunication
facilities including switch access.
Developed computer skills using database, word
processing and spreadsheet experience.
Developed written and oral communication skills.
Developed interpersonal skills.
