Both cars are nice but my decision would come down to how long I planned on keeping the car.

If longer than 5 years, the Lambo wins.

If less than 5, then I'd get the Vette.

Exotic Italian cars carry a prestige that does not diminish with age. Sure after 20 or so years, your standard American car can become a classic. But most of us, don't keep the cars that long.

All that said, I'd rather have a Ferrari!

And after 15,000 miles when the clutch on the Lambo goes out and it costs you a couple grand to fix, you will be wanting the Z06 and it's low cost (comparitivly) replacement parts. The exotics are nice, but unless you just have money to waste, they aren't practical. Just my .02 anyway!

Also for yall talking about repairs on the lambo, if you could afford it without any problems, the clutch going out is the least of your problem. I really don't think that will hurt the ole pocket book.

Hmmmmm, just to add to the repair theory. A buddy of mine owns a euro-repair shop. A Lotus V8 Esprit needed a motor replaced........BAM $26K not including labor. I can imagine what it would be on a Lambo. :P Both cars are badass, i'll take 2 please.
