just getting input. would you guys and girls be up for a GTG somewhere ? we could try to centralize it as best we could. maybe longview ? maybe nacogdoches ? post up and lets see what we come up with, if anything...

I generally host a small New Year's Eve GTG at Holly Lake Ranch. Ususally we have one condo for the kiddoes and light weight drinkers, and one for the uhm....well, put the women and children to bed and go huntin for bear" drinkers.
As a matter of fact, we will be heading there for the TX OU game, Oct 7th&8th. Seen Texas do some amazing things from Holly LAke, and we desperately need a W over OU so........we'll try anything at this point.

There is aso a good Pool Hall in Kilgore called The Corner Pocket. It's only about 2 yrs old. So they still have nice tables and straight sticks! The girl that managed Freddy's for 10 years opened her own place over there. The only drawback is they don't serve hard liquor - only beer/wine cooler/ etc. They are 18 & up also. They also have a small "dance club" they opened beside them but it hasn't taken off too well yet. They have an air hockey table, darts, video poker & games.

If you guys can hold off until after the the first weekend of Nov., I can come out and play. Maybe some smoked pork loin and/or brisket could be in order. Tomcat427 was looking to come out to Hallsville to make some 1/4 mile nitrous runs. I'd like to see if we work that in the plans. BTW, for those of you seriously intending on coming to this, it will be two or three weeks at least before anything takes place. We should all give our input on which weekend would be best for everyone and when the weather would be favorable for going to Hallsville if that will be on the agenda. Like I stated before, we can all gather at my place and cook out or go to a restraunt if you would rather do that. Just post up your opinions on all of this and let us get an idea on an approximate date.
