Go Tech! Atleast Texas only has to contend with Baylor this week. Tech can get hot at times.

The key to the Texas/ou game will be if Benson can run. If he cannot, Texas will have to rely on the passing game and that's not going to work well.

That is what I'm on this week. I took Baylor and the 36.5 points they are offering up. Figure we'll see the same type of game as played with Rice. Let the starters play until the lead is well in hand and bring in the second string to finish up the game.

If they did this while playing Rice with Baylor the next game, surely they will do the same when OU is the next up. And if they don't it it is because (gasp) it is a tight game and, well, the spread still works.

They should whip Baylor 72-0, but hopefully (for me!) Mack decides to rest his studs after the game is in hand.

OKay you want to talk BASEBALL.... if i remember correctly texas only won that series 2-1 and were all close games (by like 1 point) and OU was in a BIG slump... Not a BIG basketball fan but UT does play well against OU (and any other team for that matter) Hell I cant actually remember the last time we won a basketball game against Texas..... has to be a couple years seems like.... Texas achilles heel will be the lack of a passing game. All that you have to do is stop Texas run because they sure as hell can't count on VY to throw it. In case you missed the Texas/Rice game they didn't play Ced but like 2-3 plays in the 2nd half. Same will happen in the Baylor game. They aren't stupid. They know they need him to be fresh for the OU game.

You just better hope your badass OU defense doesn't give up 700 yards of passing this week against Tech.

Even though the scoreboard didn't show it, OU had trouble against Oregon. Game could have been much closer if it were not for poor play calling on Oregon's part.

Don't even get me started on spreads being met because I think the only spread that OU has even come close to making was that Houston game.

What are you guys talking about only one stud on defense.... we have a few very capable defensive players Pool? Mitchell? Nicholson? Even Rufus Alexander is becoming a very good linebacker.... We havent allowed many yards rushing this year..... Texas will have a hard time with this for sure.... And our Adrien Peterson will put up some BIG numbers for sure since he is starting.... hes ranked like 9th in the nation with 133.33 YPG as a TRUE freshman that hasnt even started a game yet... and everyone talking about point spread needs to sit and realize that when you are a top ranked team... EVERYONE wants to beat you BAD!!! ESPECIALLY the unranked teams in non-conference play.... these teams worked for weeks before the season started on a game plan for OU while Stoops is busy planning for T-tech, UT, and Kansas.... these teams always play VERY strong games and will put up points just out of pure determination..... doesnt mean OU played bad just means they did really good.... OU WILL beat T-tech this year as we have in the past 4 years.... and we will beat UT as we have the past four years straight too.... T-tech has a very good offense, but these knucklheads think that they are just going to outscore us just like they tried the in the past and hasnt worked.... we have outscored them in the past 2 years like 116-40.... it doesnt say alot for a high powered offense and says very bad things for their defense.... and Texas will not be able to run the ball like they want to....so that leaves them with what??? probably yet another red-river loss
