those things are pretty damn fun.... I still don't see how you land those things as high as I have seen some fools jump.... guess its all in the suspension like a dirtbike... but smaller is easier to whip around in the air

I ride a 2002 YZ250F. I just got back from a 4 day trip in New Mexico. We rode in the mountains. Probably the best riding anywhere in the US. If anyone wants to go riding PM me. I'm always up for riding with new people.

I used to ride mainly motocross tracks until I broke my leg and blew out my knee. Now I mainly ride trails. I'll ride a MX track as long as it's not packed. I used to ride out at Shady Grove. I'll ride MX if you guys want. Let me know which one.

Shady is still pretty damn hard pack... we don't go there much now that we found this new track up north of little elm.... I'll get some directions posted up tonight... I forget the damn name of the road you have to turn on to get to it... but it is damn nice.... he maintains the shit out of it.... the corners are sooo soft and don't hurt when you slide out... some big jumps but very forgiving if you land right.... granted I busted my ass on a tripple I tried... but hey if you don't crash you don't learn right
![]() My bike will be getting some stuff powder coated and anodized for a week or so so I will be out for a bit... but when I get it back we need to all try and hook up out at this new track... it reminds me a lot of the dirt out at nacona. |

Go I-35 north to Valley View, take 922 east to Mountain Springs, turn left on FM372. Take a right on FM3496 toward Lake Kiowa, and then another right on FM902, which will take you through Lake Kiowa. The track is on your right a little ways after you go through Lake Kiowa. From Denton it takes about 35 minutes. The guy who owns it is Mark McAfee and his # is 214-543-1575. |

Does that place have organized practice or is it just ride when you want? I hate organized practice cause you dont get much riding in and I dont race, I just want to have fun and take laps when I want.

do aaron talks out of his ass sometimes... I was hitting the double out of the tripple in 2nd... most of the jumps out there 2nd if fine.... but a couple table tops I haven't got the art of clutchin down just right to come out of the corner into a pretty decent table in 3rd gear... cause 2nd isn't going to cut it...
I nutted up and tried third gear on the tripple pretty much wot and well I fucked up... leaned back instead of forward on take off and well you know what happens from there... my body cleared the tripple... bike didn't quite make it ![]() oh and no I am not riding this weekeing tripp has my bike for about 5-10 days

i live in wylie...i've been going out to www.boondoxxx.com ... it's not very crowded, and you can ride anywere that you want...they have several tracks. i wouldn't mind checking out some others, though. i'm a beginner, so i'm just getting the hang of small jumps. doubles and tripples are waaaaaaaaaaay out of my league!
