Skip can you help me out

My wife bought a 2002 focus zts and imo got screwed on the deal. As of this date she still owes 15,700 Is there any thing you can do to help her get out of this car and into something bigger, and possibly keep the payments aroun 390 per month. This car is in excellent condition with only 28,000 miles. We prefer to buy not lease, if there is any thing you can do please let me know. I'd really appreciate your help. I have heard some really great comments from other members on the board, and this is why I'm asking for your help. Thanks- Steve

here is the problem.....a 390 payment equates to a 24000 payout (roughly).....kbb rates the car in good shape at 7000 trade value .....take 8000(negative equity) from 24000 and I have to sell you a car for 16000 out the door including taxes, have 0% for 60 months and be able to carry all of the negative on top of it.

I can get you out of the car, but not without increasing the current payment. The only way you might be able to get out around the same pmt is a 5 yr lease and we do not offer those as they are more trouble than they are worth to the customer(costs you way too much in the long run)

One thing to look at is extended warranty and other financial product cancellations......if she purchased these items she should be eligible for a prorated refund and that would help by dropping the payoff balance.
