Trim?

I have a 90 vert and the trim around the top is looking like crap.. does anyone know what kind of paint to use or what i can do about it? I have been told to sand it down and just use regular spray paint but i don't want to mess anything up.. any suggestions?

What trim are you talking about? On top of the windshield header area?

You talking about the black paint on the metal trim? If so they sell paint for that purpose and matches real nice. Look at some local auto parts store to see if they carry it. Just sand it down, clean it and shoot some paint on it. Worked great on my 84 SVO and matched perfect.
