What does "Low Impeadence" on my amp mean?
Like when my amp powers up, the Power light comes on, then the Low Imp light and that's it.
Got an idea what the hell is wrong?

Your amp is trying to tell you that the load (impedance) is too low.
What subs do you have connected to the amp? What is their impedance (4 ohm, 8 ohm dual voice coil, etc...)? How do you have them wired? Parallel or Series? James |

The amp is running my coax speakers. They are just 4OHM speakers, in a 4OHM load.
I figured it was a power problem, since my volt meter said about 8.5v at the connector.

If you are just running a pair of 4 ohm speakers at a 4 ohm load then maybe you are having a voltage problem. You should be getting at least 11.5 + volts at your amp.

make sure you didnt bridge the 4 ohm speakers together because that would be a 2 ohm load on the amp and if the amp isnt 2 ohm stable then boom-bitch! It seems that you have a power problem though. Like homeboy said, yopu should have at least 11v at the back. It could be a ground or power wire problem.
Ex: The power wire has been stripped a little and is toutching the frame. And vice versa for the ground.

Yeah I am pretty sure it is power. I got 8.5v with- Key On, Engine Off-after the cap. I am beginning to think the cap may be bad...

Even if the cap is bad you should have more than 8 v.
