Jeremy, if you can get a real Mach I hood and shaker, I'd do that. I have to agree the CDC one doesn't look that great. If you look at a Mustang with the CDC kit next to a Mach I, you notice a big difference.

oem, the applique thing looks cheap. and there used to be issues with them coming up / off. I could have sworn there was a kit that used a stock hood and came with the proper brakets for a GT but i cant remember who made it.
because I am smarter and have way better taste in vehicles than you do.
as for the taillights they are stock not some *** aftermarket piece of crap

Nothing wrong with making a car look different than what it is from the factory. After all, I put blacked out tail-lights, clear fog and headlight assemblies with HID's, and (drum roll) oem-design CJ emblems on my shaker. If someone doesn't like it, screw 'em.
