Friday and Saturday at TXR

Friday night is the Promod shootout and Saturday is jammed packed now. Promods, KOTH, 5.30 Back Half and new 275 Outlaw Drag Radial class.

The 275 Outlaw DR has 2 rules, 1st must have a 275 DR on it, #2 No Wheelie Bars.

Um, Gaylen never said. He told me there was a 5.30 BH class that would be an all run, and then the 275 outlaw dr that will have qualifying and only has the 2 rules. I will call him today to get more info for yall

There will be a 5.30 cap on the radial class for parity! Entry fee is $100.00 dollars and yes it get car/driver and two crew members in. First place will pay $1500.00 dollars and maybe $500.00, $250.00, and etc. That's if everyone shows that said they would? We need a definite ( YES I WILL BE THERE ) so post or call and let Me or Andy( At Kim Smith ) or Derek Lewis know before wednesday please, Thanks John M. (817)233-5615

Man Chad I have no clue, Prob start with the 530, DR, Koth (Testing)?? and the promods qualifying. This is just my thinking so the cars lay some rubber down.

I think I also heard 16 car field, Derek might know more on that. 2 rounds of qualifying, there should be a lot of time in between, I would assume.

I think we are going to run behind the pro mods. There is going to be 2 round of qual. We are going to try and run everyone that show up. We will have a little drivers meeting before we start but it will be all laid back. Will be almost like the 9" madness but ladder will be done off qual.

The word on the street is that if it takes off something like the payout next year might be a couple grand to win. Beside we all know who has the badest car on stock suspension and a 275 drag radial with big pills. How is that for some shit talk. This race isn't no TTT5 where we have to make a few people happy or they will cry. This is run what you brung.

Its fixed (I hope) but not quite ready, thats why I have kept my big mouth shut. I really wish it was though. I would really like to see an Outlaw 275 deal take off around here.

Thats a pretty decent start at shit talking but you need to sound more angry. Get Boosted to give you some lessons, he's good at getting them going.

When you say that you are going to run behind the pro mods.... does that mean that you will run after both pro mod qualifying rounds are done, or will you run after each session of pro mod qualifying?

What time do you estimate that the event will be over?

Gates open at 6p. 8 car shootout for $30,000 purse Friday only + 2 rounds of qualifying Saturday for the Pro Mod race Saturday, Shootout begins at 8:30p

Saturday
Gates open at noon - 2 rounds of Pro Mod Qualifying begins at 2p + King of the Hill (fast Backhalf cars on 10.5W tires) will qualify and run AND Texas Backhalf Outlaws will also run.

It is still a little confusing though. When it says Backhalf Outlaws I am pretty sure it means the 275 Outlaw class, but I hope someone will chime in and correct me if I am wrong. The 275 class is only on saturday. I would think it is going to be a long day with 4 class running. I would think we would run after each round of pro mod. They are have the back half class also. So it will be promod, king of the hill, 275, and back half outlaws on Saturday. For the 275 class you can pay your entry on Friday at the gate and test for free on Friday just make sure you keep you ticket to get back in Saturday.

Just to let everyone know, I have nothing to do with this race. I just did the flyers and Gaylen called me to post it. I am just trying to help, John, Derek and Gaylen out on getting the word out to everyone. I would love to see this DR class become a hit!

In the TXR points shootout, we are #1 so that gives us #1 Qualifier

In TOPMA we have Clinched the Championship, second year in a row. We had to fight to get it! Gaylen was leading up until 5 races ago.
