Need a GOOD body shop (pic included)

Some dumbass hit the side of my parked superduty this past sunday night on his motorcycle after attempting to do a burnout on his hayabusa and losing control. The adjuster finally came out today to get the estimate done and payment to me started.

I'm looking for a bodyshop that is highly recommended but will also do the 05-07 conversion on my truck. I've already started buying parts for it but insurance will be paying for all of it. Pretty much anything needed for the conversion was replaced in his quote.

So if anyone knows of a good body shop that is willing to work with me on this, let me know!

And because I know you want to know what happens when a hayabusa runs into the side of a F250 diesel... here's a picture.

I always use Leezo Bros Autocrafters. They're at Irving Blvd and Loop 12. He does a lot of custom work, airbrushing, and restorations.

I used to work for Charlie. I can't say whether or not he will work with you on converting it, but I don't know why he wouldn't. Give him a shout.

I've got quotes from 3 different places so far

$2170 - the adjuster this morning from the guys insurance company
$3200 - Craigs Collision in bedford
$2800 - Service King in bedford

I got 2 random quotes so I would know if the adjuster was off or trying to BS me.

Replacing - fender, bumper (and bracketry), headlight, marker light, grill and hood.

don't some insurance companies have a pre-qualified list of shops that you don't have to use, but if you want the insurance company to guarantee the work, you have to use them?

If you take it to Craigs or Service King, check their work before you take possesion of your truck. I have seen a lot of half-assery come out of those two places.

I have seen a lot of good work from these guys. They are just down the street from the old USA performance shop.

When I had to have some work done on my Mystic, I took it to Caliber Collision in Colleyville off Hwy 26. They didn't have a problem replacing the stock hood with an Cobra R style hood from Cervinis. The guys working the shop seemed really cool about it.

A friend of mine also had his 01 GT worked on there and they installed a '00 R hood and Cobra bumper in place of the stock stuff and also painted the cowl and mirrors to match the car and didn't charge him any extra.

I ended up totalling my car out before Caliber could fix it so I bought it back and took it to Mid Cities Frame and Body at the corner of 820S and Hwy 10 in Hurst. Cuco and his guys did a great job getting my car back together.

I'd recommend either place

Buddy of mine just stopped by and he randomly mentioned Caliber Collision aswell. At the same time, everything that needs fixed bolts on/off so it wouldn't be that hard to do it myself.

I am telling you man get the check, get the parts, you can come out to my shop in Mansfield and I will help you, or you can call Nick and I am sure he would help you as well, the hardest part is cutting out the header panel to let the new headlights fit, and wiring in the headlight bulb kit, it is all easy! You can do it yourself and just get the plastic piece painted.

Hahah small world.

I found out yesterday that the guy that hit it actually died 2 days after the accident from "complications". The odd thing was that he bought that bike from a good friend of mine and out of all the vehicles in the parkinglot, he hit mine. Odd coincidence.

Waiting on the insurance check right now. Already bought headlights and grill. Just need bumper, hood, fender.
