Gee, didn't we already have this problem with another receiver? Difference was, he still made plays...

He really didn't even say anything. The whole thing is getting overblown and it's pretty obvious the two aren't on the same page. It's hilarious how every media outlet does whatever they can to create drama for this organization.

Anyone who has watched a Cowboys game this season could see that. I don't see what the big deal is; of course he's unhappy about it.

I doubt it. Miles Austin wouldn't be the star he is becoming if TO was here.

Good LORD, you guys are getting duped by the Media. He didn't say anything wrong. In fact, what he did said is the exact opposite of Mr. "Me, Me, Me" in that Roy is saying "We".

Don't let the Media make your mind up for you. Remember to take the Mike Leech approach to the media. Eff them. Arrrrrrrgh.

This is the kind of story I hate. The media spin is amazing. They spin these kinds of statements into something it's not, and then they end up affecting the teams mentality with their headlines. Therefore actually hurting a team they cover. The media is supposed to report the stories, not create a story out of nothing and therefore change the teams natural course of direction.

It sounds to me that Williams is blaming Romo...Saying that balls are getting thrown correctly to others and not him. If nobody else is having an issue catching Romo's passes, then it seems like Willams is the one with the problem.

I've seen enough footballs bounce of Williams' hands to know where the problem is.

No no no no no

We don't need that headcase around here, and if he's not producing or getting separation in Buffalo what makes you think he could do it here?

The Cowboys are the Bush & Cheney Administration, for Sports news.

I would like to hear that they are practicing more together.

After watching J. Reeves breakup an end zone fade route that should have been clearly caught last week I nearly spit my beer out laughing so hard.......TO is done in the NFL.

the problem isn't the media, Romo, Austin, Wade, etc... The problem is that Williams is an over rated hack that belongs in the Arena League where he can do his first down signal and his "Hook 'em" sign after a touchdown and he won't look like a douche for doing it when they are down by 17 points.

Really?

"I'm the No. 1 receiver," Williams said. "But things are just going No. 2's way."

"He gets the ball thrown correctly his way," Williams said of Austin. "I'm stretching and falling and doing everything. Everybody [else] who's been here's balls are there. Our footballs [from Romo to Williams] are everywhere right now."
Sounds more like, "Wah, wah, they don't like me because I'm new. It's not my fault."

Roy is not the #1 WR.....Austin is..once he understands that maybe he will get the ball thrown to him correctly..Romo doesn't need this QB/WR conflict like he had with Owens.

I don't really see anything out of line. Roy is right. Danny, have you watched a down of football this year? Your constant negativity about the Cowboys is tiring, and sometimes, just flat out wrong.

Sure, he's dropped his fair share. That doesn't mean the ball was catchable, every single time. Just because it hit his hands, doesn't mean it should have been caught. At least he's making an effort to catch some of the shit balls tossed his way. He could just look at the ball, then look back at Romo and start jawing on the sidelines like TO did. Instead, he's trying to be productive, and trying to make something out of nothing.

The first two drops in last week's game were 1) at his feet, and 2) BEHIND him. That's just two examples, but I could point out plenty of others that were just plain bad passes, as these two were.

Perhaps it's his size, perhaps he's not running the right route. That has yet to be determined, and nobody other than those that know what play was called, will know the truth behind where the blame lies. Personally, I think both of them shoulder the responsibility.

I don't see where he's out of line. He didn't throw anyone under the bus. Fucking players on the Cowboys roster can't win for losing, because the media is always trying to fabricate something. If they don't speak, they are poor sports, and dickheads. If they do speak, everything they say gets twisted to use against the team. It's lose/lose, because of the spotlight they are under.

Oh, and you fucking morons that STILL think they should have never gotten rid of TO, shut up. It's painfully obvious to anyone with a brain that this team is leaps and bounds beyond where they were with him last year. Let it die already. TO sucked here last year, and he's sucking in Buffalo. His NFL career is over.

Every single one of the Cowboys on the 2009 roster has had problems catching balls from Romo this year. Do you all not remember the game where Romo just flat out couldn't complete a pass, to anyone? You know, the game where all you fools were calling for Romo's head on a platter, comparing him to the likes of Tavaris Jackson?

Yeah, thought so....

I totally agree with your assessment of the situation. The media takes any little scrap thrown their way and turns it into a 75oz sirloin. The two balls thrown Roy's way, that I can remember, from the seahawks game were nowhere near catchable. He and Romo don't have natural chemistry like Austin and Romo do. They need to work overtime to make it work, and that's what they're doing. Like you said, at least he doesn't cry like a fucking baby on the sidelines and yell at everyone during the game like TO. The ball he did catch on the slant for a touchdown was a big momentum changer. I hope Romo has time to throw against filthadelphia on Sunday night

I don't think it will be as big of an issue as everyone is making it out to be.

Romo has a QB rating of 166.something, while under pressure. Which, by the way, leads the NFC and I believe puts him in top 5 based on that stat by itself.

True, it doesn't count the fumbles. But it DOES count interceptions.

Speaking of fumbles, I wish Romo would secure the ball better when he feels pressure. Other than that, he's been playing a lot better recently,

Huh? This year he's been keeping two hands on the ball and tucking it to his chest. You can't really have better ball security than that.
