I have heard from more than one person that Crandall has been a cluster "F" lately. They need to get it figured out. I am staying away until then. Denton seems the best lately.

i went last night and it was much better...we had a forum member email Sammy at the track about all of our opinions on how the track has gotten bad...Sammy actually emailed my buddy back and called him personally regarding all the issues and it seems he cars and is trying to fix it...he also wanted to know what day of the week we would like an all street car night...no big dawgs out there...he suggested Thursday...i'll probably make a poll later on and see what everyone thinks...

please take this into consideration...Rich from Pinks supposedly has made Crandall his home track and he now lives in Mansfield...so he can call 30 min before hand and run some cars however he wants...i went last night and Rich showed up and practiced for his new show called The Move...and also word is that all of the Pinks All Out stuff will be held at Crandall next year...this is what I heard last night while I was there...so we will see how true all this is...

That was some friends on mine in the camaro for the "the move promo" . He said Rich told him that pinks was going to be there next . Rich also said the problem with T-plex was the officals running it .

Well for all the Crandell haters they ran Promods, Texas pro stock and jr dragsters tonight and it was over at midnight. Also any of you going sunday I over heard tonight they plan on wraping it up when it gets dark

I still will go to Crandall, I like the fact that it is 1/4 mile. It is a top notch facility, to bad Pinks is coming in. Im sure they are doing anything and everything to get back in the green on the black book.

We are heading out at noon today to beat the big crowd.

Its the best track to me and not because I live right next to it. Its a track where you can take the family go race and you dont have anything to worry about.

You do realize when Pinks comes to a track they become "the officials". It's pretty much like when the NHRA big boys come to town. Since they are such a big money maker, they get what they want.

i agree that rich is an idiot, pinks suks who wants to watch races that you don't get to see how fast the cars went? and the move....how stupid,and dangerous you have to look out your back glass to see when the other car leaves,,,,dumb dumb dumb. for those who say u don't , i kno not every race u will but me and a challenger ran the same time if they put us up against each who ever gets the move should win if we line up side by side.so he has to give me a car link and him get the move, so i have to look out the backglass to see when he goes..lol dumb dumb dumb. had to be thought up from someone who doesn't kno sht about racing and can't ride a motorcycle. and for crandall i went for the 1st time weekend b4 last and i'm not gonna say i'll never go back but it will be awhile. they left the street cars setting in the staging lanes for 31/2 hours and the motorcycles would run come right back around and run again. the trailered cars where doin the same while at same time blowing sht up and oiling down the track. 1 crashed, and they would clean it up and bypass us again send the big boys back out to screw up the track. then i got caught in that flood on the way home ...i drove from oklahoma to crandall to set in line all day. 2 passes. but yes its a nice facillity but i went faster at ennis.

According to their website, they're not open on Friday nights anymore. I might try to make it out there tomorrow (12-6pm on their site for Fun N Grudge). I'll probably make a few 1/8th mile passes, then air it out one time down the quarter and see if I can get my 10-sec pass before getting booted from the track. :\

Not a big fan of Crandall or Ennis. Crandall is closer by 15 minutes but I have run faster at Ennis and Ennis is 15 bucks to race not 30 like Crandall was.

Not the same as NHRA . You think ADRL,NMRA and PSCA and others have huge transporters with track prep equipment ? I was just saying what came from the horses mouth .Also I am not a Rich nut hugger ,but people I know that have met him and others that have raced in his shows ,really like the guy .

I guess you really wasn't paying attn on the move ,there is no looking out the back window ,you have a spotter . As for waiting in the staging lanes ,any track you go to the street cars get screwed .It was the same @ K-dale last night .

What I'm saying is "they" decide what gets done and how it gets done. It has nothing to do with equipment.
