Well I signed up with them back on the 20th, and received a samsung gravity 2. After about a week, having NO signal here in town, and calling them twice to find out wtf I could do... they gave me two options. I could return everything and undo my service like it'd never happened...
or... upgrade to a free blackberry 8900 HUGE props to T-mobile on their customer service and professionalism! I know several companies are just as good, but after being married to at&t for 9-ish years and being treated the way I was, I thought T-mobile deserved some good feed back. I'm loving this new phone but have much to learn Anyone speak Blackberry that could help me figure some stuff out?

Ive had about 5 blackberry's. What you wanna know?
T-Mobile still sucks though. Ive had them, and AT&T, i now have Verizon. AT&T ends next month. Verizon's 3G is the shizzle, should have started with them.

Yes indeed! Thank god, since I work from home... I can't sit here with a phone that has no damn reception ... that defeats the purpose of using a cell to conduct the majority of my business. |

Replied. Wi-Fi is awesome, you can run off your interwebs at home from your cell.
You can set it up to connect to it while your at home. And to run of 3g when your away from home.

I was with T-mobile. Their coverage and phones were not the best, but their customer service was outstanding.

People can say what they want about T-Mobile but their customer service is bar none and their signal is great.

after using a vast array of phones, i disagree. if you actually like to get things done with it, that ball really expedites menu navigation.

I used to have a Blackberry Pearl and I liked it better than any phone I have ever owned. The only complaint I had about it was getting on here, but hell, I didn't do that too often anyways.. I think I will be going back to a Blackberry when I am due for upgrade.
It was touch as shit too.. I dropped that thing dozens of times.. Even dropped it into a toilet and still never had an issue.

Maybe it was just the one I had, but that ball hardly worked at all. It would be better if they had the knob thing like some laptops do for the mouse. I had a pearl and it sucked. I got rid of it and got a LG Xenon which was a great phone, then I traded it for an HTC fuze which was cool but had horrible battery life and I could never hear it ring. I wish I would've kept the Xenon. If HTC fixed the not being able to hear the phone ring and battery problem on the new models though, I'd probably go with one of those again.

I love T-mobile. Had them for years. However, since moving back to El Paso, I have a huge bitch. Their 3g coverage is only on the east side of the city. I live on the far west side. So unless they fix that problem pretty quickly I think I am going to patiently wait out my contract and move on to AT&T. I want an iPhone so bad!

Same as someone else said. Phone selection and service signal sucked balls. But customer service kicked ass.
EDIT: The ball on the BB phones is handy. However, after I replaced the third ball on my Curve (also replaced two on my Pearl), I moved on from BB. I didn't like their web navigation, either. |

Their customer service sucks worse than their coverage. They can burn.
I'll never use them again.

i used to have tmobile in longview, at one point i stopped getting any signal once i got home...2 weeks after arguing with them, i finally placed the line in suspend and went back to att.. Tmobile wouldn't let me out of the contract, saying it worked at first and they aren't responsible for change in service. a couple months later i called to cancel it after i got the money together, they actually went ahead and let me out for free and even credited me back the months i put it in suspend because the issue. So they are ok people in my book. if their service was any better in east texas i'd go back but i doubt they are gonna continue to expand...
