You obviously were speeding and not paying attention. It doesn't matter if it was dark, raining, and the over turned car was black. You would still see it in your headlights. Seems like it would be hard to miss.

And you type like 2nd grader, so it's difficult to ascertain the rest of your statement.

I see it as a series of unfortunate events. Car A flips their car, so depending on how long it had been flipped would determine negligence on their part. i.e. if they were injured or whatnot. If they had been flipped, were out of their car just dicking around, I'd assess negligence on them to a degree. On the other hand, Car B is entering the on-ramp and is accelerating. I've come pretty close to hitting shit like this before... sometimes, there's just not jack shit you can do, depending on the layout of things. Best thing is if you have full coverage, turn it in to your insurer, pay your deductible, and let them fight it out.

Negligence in blocking the freeway?? WTF? Their car was flipped over, what do you expect them to do, drag that thing off the road so you can continue on your way?

If the cobalt flipped anyways, chances are it could've crushed the headlights, tail lights, anything to make it visible at night. A friend of mine died when the car he was in blew out a tire, and smacked the guardrail crushing the headlights so the car wasn't visible to other drivers, etc...

x2, but if you have a personal loan that is not a signature loan then you had to use the vehicle as collateral resulting in a requirement for full coverage. reduces the chances of this happening, paying for a heap in the yard.

We have all done some seriously dumb stuff in our lives, but this lesson will be burned in the back of your eyelids.

yup, everyone on here is a perfect driver...

I was coming up and over one of the high exchanges from I35 to George Bush during a fairly heavy rain... I wasn't driving excessively fast, but a guy in a silver suburban had lost it, spun out, and hit the wall, and was now straddling across both lanes of the ramp. He didn't have any lights on, and I didn't see him till I was VERY close, and I'm coming downhill on wet road. I hauled on the brakes, and the ABS kicked in, and I knew I wasn't going to get it stopped before I hit him, so I just aimed for the small gap between the wall and his front bumper and hoped for the best.

I squeezed through thank god, but I can't say the same for the people behind me... the next day I drove the same route, and there were tons of tire marks and paint all over those walls.

BTW it is not law to have full coverage it is a stip in your contract when you purchase a vehicle. HUGE mongoloid difference between las and contract between two parties on this subject. TX law is liability as you know.

It's not required by any laws, it varies from one lending institution to another as to what the physical damage requirements are going to be for a loan.

I dont think it's a matter of claiming to be a perfect driver, but instead, knowing who is at fault.

Even though you would have been pissed as all holy hell if you'd have wrecked, you'd of at least had the common sense to know that, as much as it sucks, your part of the accident would have been your fault alone in the eyes of state law.

Instead, the op couldn't acknowledge that, and is looking for ways to blame the occupants of the car that was already wrecked before him.
