I just downloaded a Microsoft game off the net and it seems as though it has reconfigured something to do with my sound. I'm not getting any sound at all from my computer for anything. Any ideas???

It was a Microsoft game... the only answer AbecX can give is "Install linux and solve all your problems!":)
